Technique(s)

Organisation

Highland Archaeology Services Ltd

Date

May 2014

Description

A desk-based assessment and walkover survey were carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2014 ahead of a proposed run-of-river hydro-electric scheme at Kinloch, Tongue, Sutherland. Fourteen features were noted and it was recommended that some further fieldwork would be needed should the scheme go ahead. These would include the recording of sections through a dyke and old trackway and the marking out of features to avoid accidental damage during construction. <1>
