Date

Description

Fieldwalking was carried out by S Duthie and others on the site of a putative Norse timber building at Pol na Maraich Mor, Invernaver Nature Reserve in 2004. This was carried out as it was thought that the site was suffering from erosion. An area of 6400m² was walked. The exerecise produced no evidence to support the existence of a norse structure, however, a number of small pieces of worked flint and debitage were found. <1>
