Description
A desk based assessment was carried out by J G Robertson in April 2009 in advance of a proposed hydro-electric scheme development on the Abhainn Shalachain river, Morven, Lochaber. Forty sites were identified during the assessment, 8 of which were directly on the route of the proposed development and were likely to be impacted. A further walkover survey was proposed as well to identify any further unknown sites. <1>
The findings were used in support of a planning application by the Forestry Commission. <2>
