Description

This report covers fieldwork undertaken around Mid and Easter Fearn, Ardgay, Highland between 1st August and 2nd October 2014 to identify and mitigate effects on the cultural heritage from construction of a run of river hydro scheme. Previous surveys had located several features and a watching brief was undertaken where the development area lay close to these. One new feature was identified during marking out and two features - a field dyke and a cobble based mill lade - were recorded in greater detail where they required to be cut by the penstock route. <1>
