Description

Archaeological desk-based and walk-over surveys were carried out to inform plans for construction of a hydro-electric scheme on the Allt Dubh, Achnasaul (Achadh nan Sabhal), Loch Arkaig. The proposed penstock line follows an old shieling track leading to the headwaters of the Allt Dubh, but no significant archaeological features were identified, and there are no recommendations for further work. <1>
