Description
Archaeo-Environment (AE), were commissioned by Highland Quality Construction Ltd (HQC,) to undertake an archaeological desk based assessment and walkover survey at Kingsburgh Quarry, Isle of Skye. The requirement for the work had been identified by the Highland Council Archaeology Unit (HCAU), in pre-application discussion with Agros Associates of Muir of Ord who on behalf of HQC are preparing an Environmental Impact Assessment for a proposed extension to the operating area of the quarry.<1>
