EHG4694 - DBA and Walkover Survey - Kinlochdamph Hydro Scheme, Shieldaig, Wester Ross

Eleven archaeological sites, comprising at least 24 individual monuments, were recorded in a desk-based and walkover survey for the Kinlochdamph Hydro Scheme, Shieldaig, Wester Ross, Highland. One site is probably of prehistoric date: the cairnfield and hut circles, Site 1. The remainder relate to the post-Medieval agricultural landscape of the area, including shieling huts or structures, Sites 8, 10 and 11, or late 19th and 20th century estate improvements, including paths, Sites 2, 4 and 6, and fences, Sites 5 and 9. <1>
