EHG4722 - DBA and Walkover Survey - Freshwater Lochs of the Trotternish Area

This survey, commissioned by Dualchas Museums' Service, is the second phase of a project to assess the freshwater lochs of the Island of Skye for evidence of "island duns and settlements"/ The first phase of this project "A Survey of the Lochs of the Duirinish Area", was completed in January 1997 (EHG4712). The purpose of this preliminary assessment is to identify artificial structures in the freshwater lochs of Skye, so they may be included in the archaeological record of the island. <1>
