EHG4761 - Walkover survey - alternative track section, Dunmaglass Wind Farm

Technique(s)

Organisation

CFA Archaeology Ltd

Date

Aug 2013

Description

A rapid archaeological reconnaissance survey was carried out by CFA Archaeology in 2013 at the site of the proposed route of an alternative access track and haulage road for the Dunmaglass Wind Farm. Only twelve modern grouse butts were identified. Whilst it was considered that it would be best if these features could be preserved in situ if possible, it was considered that the photographic record made during the survey represented sufficient mitigation should it not be possible to do so. <1>
