Date

Description

An archaeological walkover survey was undertaken to inform plans for construction of a connecting cable at Corrimony, Glen Urquhart, Highland. Archaeological features were identified and recorded in all areas of the scheme. These include a prehistoric hut circle, clearance cairns, shielings, dykes, a sheepfold and bridge abutments. Many of these will not be affected by the scheme, and micro-siting is recommended to avoid features wherever possible. Where features cannot be avoided watching briefs are recommended in order to record sections of disturbed features. <1>
