Description
An archaeological walkover survey of the proposed site for a small hydro scheme located on the Allt Meadale near Drynoch, Isle of Skye was undertaken on 11th September 2015. One area of archaeological interest was recorded. However, the site was covered in dense vegetation and was unable to be accurately surveyed and interpreted. The site is located in close proximity to the proposed pipeline route and recommendations have been made for its safeguarding. Mitigation measures were recommended to ensure these sites would not be compromised during development.
