Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Fiona Baker on 16 February 2016 in extremely poor weather conditions of torrential and persistent rain. The watching brief monitored the stripping of the new forest road from the W of dyke Site 14 to the big drainage ditch Site 2. Additional fencing was installed in the area to the E of Site 3 and W of Site 2 to ensure this area of potential settlement remains is not encroached upon during development. <1>
