EHG4875 - Watching Brief - Strathan Hydro Scheme, Attadale Estate, Lochcarron, Wester Ross

The original proposed route of the track and cable route was re-aligned in response to the Mitigation Recommendations of the December 2015 Survey Report (EHG4874) in order to avoid the archaeological remains. However, it passed close to Site 12 and accordingly Gilkes Energy commissioned an archaeological watching brief to ensure that if any archaeological remains were disturbed these could be dealt with in the appropriate manner. No archaeological remains were located or disturbed on the track route. <1>
