Description

Archaeological trial trenching was carried out ahead of the erection of three houses at Castle View, Portmahomack, Highland. Five trenches were opened over the site and eight features were discovered. One of these was interpreted as natural; the others were connected to agricultural drainage. No further archaeological work is recommended on the site. <1>
