Technique(s)

Organisation

Highland Archaeology Services Ltd

Date

April 2016

Description

An archaeological walk-over survey and desk based assessment was undertaken to for a section of electric overhead cable line and new extensions in Glen Cannich, Highland. Six archaeological features were identified and recorded including dykes, sheep pens, a boat house and clearance cairns. The settlement on the East side of Allt Liaitre could be affected by works in that vicinity and it is recommended that works be micro-sited; with a watching brief if that is ineffective. <1>
