Description
A programme of archaeological works was required by Lochalsh and Skye Housing Association in relation to the placement of a new electric connection by SSE, comprising underground cables and the footing for a substation, through the centre of the village at Balmacara Square, a location under the care of the National Trust for Scotland (NTS). A comprehensive desk-based assessment and a watching brief were set as conditions for the development. <1>
