Description
An archaeological metal-detecting survey and walkover survey were undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 2016 at Treetops Riding Centre, Culloden, near Inverness prior to the application for planning permission for the erection of chalets on the site.
The metal-detecting survey recovered two metal artefacts that were retained for further analysis. The majority of the metal detected finds were modern detritus and were discarded.
A rapid walkover survey of the development site was conducted. <1>
