Description
Under the terms of its PIC call-off contract with Historic Scotland, Kirkdale Archaeology was asked to undertake an archaeological watching brief at Old Castle of Wick, Caithness (Fig.1) during the excavation of a small trench to allow the installation of a stone plinth featuring a sign warning of the sudden drop immediately to the south-east. <1>
