Description

Highland Archaeology Services Ltd. commissioned OJT Heritage to undertake a magnetometer survey in 2015 in the area of a proposed golf course development on land near Castle Stuart. The survey aimed to assist evaluation of the presence of archaeological remains within the proposed development area. The results included several new areas of potential archaeological sensitivity, including possible prehistoric settlement sites, enclosures and field systems, and additional information about previously recognised sites. Modern services and geological features have also been located. <1>
