Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out in relation to the development of a new house (planning reference: 12/03655/FUL) at Croft No. 5, Peinaha, Glenhinnisdal, Isle of Skye (Figures 1; 2). The development site consisted of a tract of improved land with the remains of a stone built structure and a field dyke.
The archaeological watching brief was carried out on 19th April 2017. The house site and access track was stripped and no sub-surface features were identified. Survey of the two upstanding ruins was also carried out. <1>
