Description
An archaeological watching brief and desk-based assessment in advance of the construction of a new dwelling house with septic tank and soakaway, and formation of access on land 180m northeast of An Spiddal, Balmeanach, Glenhinnisdal (Planning Reference 17/02636/FUL).
The watching brief was carried out on 27th April 2018. Approximately 18m x 20m was stripped of topsoil, plus an additional area for access and services. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered. <1>
