Description

This report details the results of an archaeological walkover survey and watching brief undertaken at the site of a new telecommunications mast and access track north of Badanloch, 7km west of Kinbrace, Sutherland. The survey and watching brief were required due to the location of the development site within an area of prehistoric settlement and field systems. The walkover survey was undertaken in July 2017 and a large number of clearance cairns were identified, as well as two modern clay pigeon shooting stances. The watching brief was carried out in August 2017 and identified no buried archaeological remains or artefacts. <1>
