Description
Stuart Farrell was commissioned by Bracewell Stirling Architects per Highland Housing Alliance in September 2018 to undertake an archaeological evaluation of land at Craig Wood, Dingwall (NH 55640/60380 centred) as part of a project for new housing with associated access and services.
Work revealed the site of the new housing lying in an area of improved farmland, disturbed partly by dumping of modern debris, with no archaeological features or deposits.
No recommendations for further archaeological work are proposed. <1>
