EHG5349 - Walkover Survey - Diubaig Caretakers Cottage, Isle of Skye

A walkover survey of the redline planning area and the immediate environs was undertaken; two other adjacent areas were also walked but as these are subject to separate planning permissions the results are reported elsewhere. A low earthen and stone bank lies on the edge of the redline area (Fig. 1). This bank was marked with hazard tape and canes so that it will be avoided and protected during subsequent construction works. No other features or structures of archaeological significance were recorded and it is the recommendation of this report that no further archaeological works are required with respect to this current planning permission. <1>
