EHG5440 - DBA and walkover survey - proposed Glenshero Wind Farm

A walkover survey of part of the area of the proposed Glenshero Wind Farm was undertaken by Headland Archaeology In 2017. Following consultation with the Highland Council, the site walkover was restricted to the lower-lying areas of the Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Inner Study Area (ACHISA) on gentler gradients and alongside watercourses as these were considered to have greater archaeological potential than the steeper, higher ground to the north. The results wer used to inform an environmental statement submitted as part of the overall planninmg application. <1>
