EHG5457 - DBA and walkover survey - proposed telecommunications mast, W of Tomich

Technique(s)

Organisation

The Environment Partnership

Date

Aug 2017

Description

An archaeological desk-based assessment and walk-over survey were undertaken by The Environment Partnership in 2017 for a proposed telecommunications mast site at Forest west of Tomich. The walk-over survey confirmed the use of the site as managed forest, and noted terracing of the site for hardstanding. This will potentially have disturbed any below ground archaeological remains within the site. The desk-based assessment and walkover survey therefore recorded only a low potential for the presence of as yet unknown archaeology within the development site. <1>
