Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted by AOC Archaeology Group in 2018 during groundworks for a new house at Ankerville Farm, Nigg. The watching brief was required due to the location of the site within an area with the potential for the survival of sub-surface remains. An extended area around the house footprint together with the access track and garage site were excavated. No archaeological features were uncovered and there is no recommendation for further work. <1>
