EHG5523 - Walkover survey - Loch a’ Bhraoin Hydro Scheme, Inverbroom

A rapid walkover survey was carried out by C Dagg in 2018 around Loch a’ Bhraoin in advance of a proposed hydro electric scheme. The proposed scheme would see the level of the loch rise to a maximum of 1.2m, within the present natural flood range. The survey was undertaken in the area of inundation around the Loch. All features within 20m of the present water’s edge or on low ground around Loch a’ Bhraoin were recorded and archaeological mitigation, where considered appropriate, was recommended. <1>
