Description

An archaeological desk-based assessment and walkover survey were carried out by Ross and Croarty Archaeological Services in 2014 in advance of construction of a new borrow pit during construction of a new wind farm at Dunmaglass, South Loch Ness. The work was undertaken to assess the nature and extent of any archaeology likely to be directly affected by the proposed works in order to inform recommendations for the protection and management of any sites identified. There were no archaeological sites identified and no further work is recommended. <1>
