Technique(s)
Organisation
AOC Archaeology Group
Date
March 2019
Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2019 in Strathnaver in advance of the siting of six camping pods on a proposed holiday letting site. A watching brief was required due to the archaeological potential of the site, which lies within an area rich in archaeological remains spanning from the prehistoric to post-medieval periods. A series of trenches were dug for the installation of service cables, water pipes and a septic tank. No archaeological remains were encountered during the works. <1>
