Description

An archaeological metal-detecting survey and a watching brief were undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 2018 at the Lade, Cromdale, near Grantown on Spey. The work was required by Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks in respect to the undergrounding of a new mains connection cable within the Inventory Battlefield of the Battle of Cromdale. The survey recovered no artefacts and the watching brief did not identify any archaeological features. <1>
