Description

A metal detecting survey was undertaken by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2019 at the site of a new wastewater treatment site outfall extension at Dunnet, Caithness. The survey recovered a scatter of ferrous and non-ferrous artefacts dating to the post-medieval period, although a number of non-ferrous, low-denomination coins dated to the 17th century. <1>
