Description
A desk-based assessment and walkover survey were conducted by S Farrell in 2020 for a new haulage road in an area of existing woodland, the site lying adjacent to the site of a cairn and two hut circles. The walkover was conducted to 10m to each side of the proposed route, the road is proposed to be up to 10m wide. Work revealed no evidence for the route of the proposed road to effect any existing or previously unrecorded archaeological features. <1>
