EHG5716 - Watching brief - new house plot, Aevi Oaks, Invergordon
Technique(s)
Organisation
AOC Archaeology Group
Date
July 2020
Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2020 at a new house plot site at Tarbat Mains near Invergordon. The requirement arose due to the presence of buried archaeological features identified during an evaluation in 2017 (see EHG5283). Two linear features were identified, correlating with the features previously seen during the evaluation. These were interpreted as the shallow remains of agricultural ditches, likely used for field drainage or boundaries. <1>
