Description
A desk-based heritage impact assessment was undertaken by Arcus Consultancy Services Limited in 2021 on behalf of Statkraft UK LTD for a proposed Greener Grid Park located at Land Adjacent to Baillie Wind Farm, West of Thurso, Highlands. The purpose was to establish the archaeological and heritage baseline for the development site, assess the potential for direct effects to the archaeological resource from the development, and assess nearby designated heritage assets for potential changes to setting that might affect cultural significance as a result of the development. No site of archaeological interest were found to be located within the proposed development site and it was considered that there would be no adverse effects on the setting of any designated assets within the wider study areas. <1>
