Description

A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by GUARD in the second week of August 2001 in advance of a proposed wind farm development at Borrowston Mains, Dounreay, Caithness. Mitigation emasures were suggested to help reduce the impact on the archaeological sites within the proposed development area. Serveral features were highlighted as requiring extra protection including: a broch, a cairn, several field walls and a salmon bothy. <1>
