EHG5766 - DBA and walkover survey - proposed development, Gledfield Estate, Ardgay

A Heritage Impact Assessment was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 2021 for a proposed development at Gledfield Estate, Ardgay, Sutherland to inform an application for the change in use and renovation of an existing steading and the development of holiday lodges. The site was visited in clear and bright conditions with excellent visibility. The site was found to be largely as depicted on maps and in available aerial photographs. No archaeological features were observed. It was judged that there was low potential for the survival of unrecorded archaeological remains and/or deposits. <1>
