Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by N Lindsay in 2021 on a controlled topsoil strip on land 35m west of The Firs, 5 Station Road, Edderton, Sutherland as a condition of Planning consent, in order to establish the extent of any archaeological remains on the site. The survey area comprised the proposed footprint of the dwelling house, hard-standing and access. No features/finds of any archaeological significance were discovered during the controlled topsoil strip. <1>
