Description
A watching brief, in the form of a controlled topsoil strip, was undertaken by Argyll Archaeology in 2021 on ground breaking works associated with the replacement of a submarine cable between Ardmore on the Isle of Skye and Beacravik on the Isle of Harris. No features or deposits of archaeological or historical significance were discovered. It was recommended that no further archaeological works would be required with respect to this project. <1>
