Description
A watching brief was undertaken by N Lindsay in 2021 on a controlled topsoil strip on land 215m SW of Banscol Lodge, Rogart, Sutherland. It was required as a condition of Planning for Application Reference No 20/03011/FUL, in order to establish the extent of any archaeological remains on the site. The survey area comprised the proposed footprint of the dwelling house, hard-standing and access. No features/finds of any archaeological significance were discovered during the controlled topsoil strip. <1>
