Description

Continued excavations were carried out by Field Archaeology Specialists (FAS) at Castle Sinclair Girnigoe in August 2011 in the area of Intervention 31 (the south entrance and an adjacent area within the dry moat beneath the bakehouse where the south curtain wall has been lost). This area had been subject to excavation in 2009 (see EHG4591) and 2010 (see EHG4592). <1>
