Description
A walkover survey was conducted by Alder Archaeology in 2021 in advance of proposed afforestation on the Ralia estate, southeast of Newtonmore. The proposed planting area, in three blocks, included a Wade road and former bridge sites, abandoned townships and outlying farmsteads. Mitigation was proposed for sites lying within the scheme; impact on sites outwith the boundary was assessed as minimal or none. <1>
