EHG6120 - Watching brief - replacement OHL poles and stays, Naver Bridge

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Highland Archaeology Services in 2023 during the replacement of two OHL poles and stays and the installation of stays to a third pole to the east side of Naver Bridge, Thurso. The watching brief had been commissioned due to the development’s proximity to a number of archaeological features. A record of the locations of several clearance cairns has been made which will allow the heritage record to be updated. No archaeological features were uncovered and there were no further recommendations to be made. <1>
