Description
A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2024 ahead the proposed erection of three dwelling houses at land 195m northwest of Glenurquhart Primary School, St Drostans, Drumnadrochit. Fieldwork was carried out on 29th April 2024, where eleven trenches were excavated by machine. All trenches were excavated to within their required meterage and were found to contain no signs of archaeological remains or artefacts. As a result no further archaeological monitoring was recommended concerning this development. <1>
