Description
Archaeological works were undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 2024 ahead of the construction of a new forest road at Benmore Forest, Lairg. Fieldwork was carried out on two separate visits, on 30th April for the walkover survey and 15th July 2024 (see EHG6254). The walkover survey identified that the majority of the development area had been extensively disturbed due to the creation of a forestry plantation which was still extant. <1>
