Description
An archaeological watching brief which was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group in 2024 during ground investigation on a site proposed for a Battery Energy Storage Site (BESS) on land south of Rigifa, Caithness. A total of 28 trial pits were monitored. No archaeological features or deposits were identified. As such, no further archaeological work was proposed in relation to the development area. <1>
