A watching brief was conducted by CFA Archaeology in 2024 during the construction of a bellmouth and access track off the B9176 public road and on an access track between two turbines for the Strathrory Wind Farm near Alness. A targeted watching brief was undertaken during works between the locations of turbines 4 and 7. During the latter works the known sheepfold was demarcated, with a 10m wide section of the bank relating to the enclosure being excavated. The enclosure was found to comprise of a bank with an associated ditch on the outside. <1>
