EHG6338 - Historic building survey - east of Nigg Energy Park, Nigg

A non-intrusive historic building survey was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2024 at the proposed Site of the Nigg HV cable factory. The works included photographic and GPS surveys of upstanding remains, along with written records and some aerial photography using a drone. Areas of thick scrub and trees along the southwest side of the site prevented a full survey of the features in that area during that time. Further photographic recording of the structures was carried out in March 2024 as the vegetation was cleared during development works. <1>
