EHG6383 - Watching brief - new house plot, Strathy, Sutherland

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Highland Archaeology Services in 2025 during the development of a single dwelling and associated infrastructure at Strathy, Sutherland, Highland. Fieldwork was undertaken on 18th March 2025. During the work the remains of one dyke/enclosure and one rubble field drain were recorded. No artefacts were noted. It was not considered that any additional post-excavation analysis would be required and, therefore, no further archaeological work was recommended. <1>
