Date

Description

An archaeological walkover survey was conducted by AOC Archaeology Group ahead of peatland restoration at Diabaig WTW Catchment, Torridon. The survey identified the remains of three shieling structures as well as an historic track and associated marker cairn. The shielings were likely part of a shieling settlement at Loch Airigh Eachainn, which extended beyond the current survey area. Protective buffer zones around the upstanding archaeological features were recommended. <1>
